We use the 3-gallon Biobags in place of plastic garbage bags for kitchen, bathroom, etc. They are a little more delicate than plastic bags, but not a problem.
(We used to use the plastic bags from food shopping, but now use reusable bags for that purpose.)
We love the Biobags & give them 5 stars! We order enough at a time to get free shipping, & that comes to 16 cents a bag. It feels good to be cutting down on plastic.

A friend gave me some of these bags and I thought they’d be great alternative to plastic for pet waste. Unfortunately, two out of three bags end up unusable due to tearing. I try to handle them as carefully as possible, but I haven’t perfected the art of detaching a bag from the roll without ripping. Then I have to open it and put things in it, which only increases the chances of damage.

I actually use these bags for cat litter disposal (the dog waste bags are a bit too small). I stopped using plastic bags for my groceries, so I didn’t just have them around the house anymore and didn’t want to flush the litter (although it’s natural pine, it’s not good for aquatic animals to flush litter). I came across this option a year or so ago. They do a great job of keeping the odor down in the trash bins. I used to use the 13 gallon size in my diaper gene, but now I just use these bags to dispose of stink diapers as well, now that we’re down to about one a day. They’re great!

I have purchased these bags before and find them perfect for the compost bins that the city of SanFrancisco provides. They are strong and leak-proof and definitely do the job well. I highly recommend.

Product works very well. Fairly thin bag, but pretty strong. Have not had one break and I have used close to 50 bags. And they are compostable, which helps.
