I got this when I was just beginning to show and I loved it so much. I heard all the other pregnant women who couldn’t sleep because they couldn’t get comfortable; obviously they didn’t have this touch of heaven. It is big, but i slept in a different bed while i was pregnant(why torture my husband with my bizarre sleep patterns and continuous trips to the bathroom while i was pregnant?). So if you have a queen you and your hubby will have a tight fit in bed with this pillow, but it would be fine with a king. I cut the end out of pillow case so I could have an extra cover over the pillow for my face area(so I didn’t have to wash off my eye makeup if i wanted to catch a quick nap). The case that comes over the pillow is great, but you don’t want to be taking it off every week to wash, just cut the end out of a pillowcase you don’t like anymore and wash the big case less frequently.

A totally worthwhile investment!
About 12 weeks into my pregnancy, my hips were already aching so badly that I couldn’t sleep. I went online and searched for pregnancy pillows and this was the only one I found that mentioned alleviating hip and shoulder pain.
It works. The first night I used it, I slept all through the night with no pain whatsoever.
I agree with other reviewers – the cover is poorly designed and the seam at the U-curve really cut into my shoulder. But I have since inverted the pillow and sleep with my regular pillow slung across the “legs.” I like this better as it doesn’t prop my head up so high.
The other way I have positioned this pillow is to wrap the “legs” around to create little circular nest to put my belly into so I can nap on my stomach. I can’t say it’s too comfortable for long-term sleeping, but the novelty of resting in something other than a side-lying position is pure bliss! It also makes my back readily available for massages…
I have a queen sized bed and my husband hasn’t complained a bit about being crowded out. He snuggles right up to me in my “nest” and is still hogging most of the bed, as usual.
Overall, I would highly recommend this pillow – particularly to pregnant women suffering from hip and shoulder pain. Don’t worry about the negative comments about the poor design. The cover could definitely be a improved upon, but it’s not a deal-breaker. You just learn to compensate for it with different positions, etc. Hopefully the manufacturer will either fix the seam or offer different pillow covers, but even if they never do, you won’t want to be without this wonderful pillow.

At 6 monthes pregnant I was just starting to have alot of trouble sleeping. I bought this pillow and I love it! I sleep straight through the night now with out tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. I have alot less trouble with back pain throughout the day since using this product. Unlike some of the other pregnancy body pillows I’ve seen, this one supports both the total back and belly at the same time. It feels so cozy. It also helps keep me on my side because with out it I tend to end up on my back every night. My husband says I look so comfortable sleeping with this pillow that he wants to use the pillow to sleep after I have the baby. He’ll have to fight me for it! Sometimes I even use it to sit or lay comfortably on the couch or floor. You can use it in so many ways. Definetely worth the money! At first I was afraid when ordering the pillow that it would take up too much space in our queen size bed and bother my husband but I was so glad to find out it really doesn’t. Great product. I would recommend every pregnant woman who has back pain and trouble sleeping to buy this pillow. I am now 8 1/2 monthes and I am still using it. I have also washed it and it washes well.

However, when I try to sleep with it the head section has an uncomfortable seam that rests right at the neck area and I feel it cuts into me. Also, when you shift around or get too close to the edge of the bed one of the “legs” seem to slip off the side of the bed and it wakes me up because I have to reposition it. I also feel that the pillow is too bulky between my knees and makes my hips ache. I have had problems with pelvic separation though, so am quite sensitive in the pelvic/hip region. I was hoping the pillow would help with that, but it made it feel worse. I guess I am used to sleeping with something flatter between my knees.

I’m not real impressed with this body pillow. The size doesn’t bother me as I thought it would – it is pretty big and takes up half the bed, but I’m entitled to half anyway.
It is also difficult to get out of the thing for my many bathroom trips during the night. Lifting one side of it sounds practical, but when you are half asleep it is difficult to be able to have the motor skills to deal with it. It feels like climbing over a mountain if you don’t lift the thing right. And you can’t lift the side at all if you are sleeping with it the other way around, so you can use your regular pillow for your head.
It is really comfortable to sit up in bed with however. I enjoy having the support behind my neck and back and I do think it might be good for breastfeeding.
The only other plus to this thing is that when you roll over – although you have to reposition the legs and your own legs, it is better than having to shift all your regular pillows to the other side, which also requires me to wake up and think.
I do agree with other reviewers that the fabric is scratchy and uncomfortable. Not good when your skin starts to get really itchy later in the pregnancy. I gave this body pillow a big chance because I wanted it to work, but it didn’t suit me well enough. I wouldn’t recommend this to my friends. I don’t even know if I would feel comfortable palming it off to them. Then they’d just have this huge bulky thing laying around like mine is now.

I was put on strict bedrest in the hospital when I was 18 weeks pregnant due to complications. A twin-sized hospital bed is not very comfortable, especially when you’re stuck in bed 24/7. I had to lay on my left side the majority of the time, and I thought this pillow might help keep me positioned that way. So, I ordered this pillow and my husband brought it to the hospital for me, and it was truly a lifesaver! I spent just over 4 months literally living in the middle of this pillow. It helped ease my lower back pain that I got from lying down all the time, and it did a great job keeping my on my left side, even when I was sleeping. The pillow was also just so comfy to snuggle up against, especially since I couldn’t be home to snuggle up next to my husband. We found replacement covers for the pillow at [...] The pillow itself did wear out in some areas, but considering I was laying in/on it all the time, that was to be expected, considering the frequency and length of time I used it. Overall, I think this is a great pillow for any mom-to-be!

Being called basic, I was suprised to find how well it works. My climate in Northeast Missouri is extremely humid, and figured mist cooling would not work as well as in AZ or other arid area. I was wrong. It turns a warm breeze into a cool one. I hang it on a portable canopy with a cooler full of cold ones and enjoy the afternoon outside at 90 degrees instead of in the AC

The Orbit 20066 Portable 1/4-Inch Outdoor Mist Cooling System is an incredibly good bargain. It has about 20 feet total of flexible plastic hose. One end has a hose adapter that is compatible with any garden hose, and it comes with metal mister nozzles spaced every two feet in the last ten feet of the hose length. Additionally, it comes with five alligator clips for mounting the Portable Outdoor Mist Cooling System on a chain link fence or thin pipe or rod. Each clip comes with a plastic fastener that can loop around a chain-link fence and snap into place.
Installation is amazingly easy. String the length of mister hose where it will be mounted, snap the clips into place, put the mister hose into the alligator clips, then screw the mister nozzles in place. I bought four Orbit Mist Cooling Systems to cool four of our dugouts on our Fast Pitch Softball fields, and I had all four in place and tested in about an hour. Most of that hour was spent stringing out and connecting garden hose. All four worked like a charm.
What impressed me even more than the low cost or the easy installation was the robustness of the design. I believe this mister system will work with almost any water pressure. Our softball facility has one regular garden water spigot per softball field. To supply the misters in each dugout, I had to use one 50 foot garden hose connected to a Y-gate, followed by another 150 foot of garden hose. One mister hose was connected to the Y-gate, and one was connected at the end of the 150 foot length of hose. Both misters worked fine, even the distant mister, in spite of having half of the water going to the first mister and losing water pressure over 200 feet of hose.
If looking for an outdoor cooling system, it is hard to imagine a better value than this product.

We bought this instead of a sprinkler for our young kids (3 & 6). Neither likes the cold spray from a sprinkler. I wanted something to cool them off on hot days and to entertain them without the danger of a pool. I strung this up and they played under it for hours. It uses a lot less water than a typical sprinkler and the ground under it was just damp when they were done playing.
The connection from the hose is solid and very little water drips out.
The item met our needs perfectly and was exactly as described!

I have watched the quality of the very pricey Misty Mate systems deteriorate badly lately and was at the end of my rope when I saw this. 17 bucks? I could not go wrong, and WOW! am I impressed!! Every mister works, and ZERO drip where water hose connects to system. Misty Mate has not worked like this for over 5 years!! All brass misters on this one, and very cool little snap on hooks to hang it on an umbrella or overhang or on your hanging plants. No hooks to have to nail. I am super impressed with this Orbit unit and now I get to do battle with the lousy customer service at Misty Mate to get a refund on the broken 119.00 system I got last week from them. Stay away from Misty Mate. Orbit Rocks!

I have had these years before. They last a long time if you take good care of them.
I just bought new ones. They are well worth the money. Everyone that has ever been around them,
loves them, including me. They drop the temperature in the area they spray but
watch out for a false sense of security from the sun. Your party guests will still
need waterproof sunblock. Ouch.
