I had four small hygrometers that gave four different readings, so I tried this kit. Now they give me the identical readings.

This is the perfect tool if your looking for a cheap way to calibrate your digital hygrometer. Make sure you let your hygrometer sit in the kit for 24-36 hours.
Worked great and I would definitely recommend it! 5*

This was well worth getting at the same time as the digital hygrometer. The instructions were good and it was easy to calibrate my hygrometer.

You could just mix up a batch of salt and distilled water and test your Hygrometer via any of the internet sites that have instructions, but WHY?
This product is simple, accurate, and idiot proof.
Just plop your Hygrometer into the zip-lock bag, leave for a day, (adjust and retest if you can) and away you go! Good for up to 3 months, so you can test as many Hygrometers as you want to with one kit.
Boveda is a time-tested brand. Museums have used their kits to calibrate equipment.
Really you can’t go wrong here. Highly Recommended.
The seller was timely and almost perfect (they forgot the key to my humidor)

We bought calibration bag with an analog hydrometer and it did exactly what it said it would do. It takes 48 hours to be accurate, but we could see that our hydrometer was off by a few percentage points. Not a big deal for us, as we’re just trying to keep mold out of our house, but if you’re storing cigars, this would be a necessity. Plus, if I am remembering correctly, it’s good for a couple of years. It’s inexpensive and it does exactly what it says it will do!
