My local stores have switched to mystery-brand mats imported from China, and frankly, I just didn’t want to risk a fall in the tub. The old mat was beyond cleaning, so it was time for a fresh one.
This Rubbermaid mat is just what I wanted. A classic, thick, non-slip mat from a manufacturer I’ve trusted for years, embossed with a subtle wave pattern. Yes, the price is higher than the mats imported from China, but it just isn’t worth it to save a couple of dollars. Five stars for a great product.

It is a bathmat. It keeps me from slipping in the tub. It does its job.
But my problem with it is that the mat is not as thick and padded as previous ones we have gotten from Rubbermaid. I guess that is how business works now, keep the name and price the same, and hope the customers don’t notice the diminished quality.

It isn’t easy to find a well-made bathmat anymore. If it were, we wouldn’t have gone to Amazon to buy one. It is difficult to tell from the description, but this bathmat is not very thick. It doesn’t feel too flimsy, but you can definitely feel the suction cups underneath the mat. It isn’t as good as our old Rubbermaid mat (which has finally worn out after 10 years), but so much better than the other ones we’ve tried.

Wonderful product with great suction so it stays put …it is soft to touch and the wavy pattern reminds me of the beach….I’m waiting on another good Friday sale deal to outfit all my tubs with similar mats…

This is a GREAT tub mat. It is secure and does not slide around in the tub. We had purchased a soft and very comfortable bath mat but when stepping in or out the suction cups woud allow the mat to slide around. We fount it to be too unsafe.
